What are the different DVD formats?

What DVD format does Video Duplication and Conversion Services use?
DVD-R.

How much video can I put on a DVD?
120 minutes (2 hours) of video.

What if I have more than 2 hours I want to store onto DVD?
Currently, we can only store 120 minutes (2 hours) per DVD.  If you have footage that needs editing to fit onto 1 DVD, please use our custom quote

Can I put more than one tape onto DVD?
Yes, however you must use our custom quote, because this requires editing

I'm not sure what type of media format I have?

How long does it take you to copy a video tape?
Most orders will be copied and shipped the same or next day.

What brand and quality of tape do you use?
We use only BASF premium grade back coated video tapes.

Are plastic sleeves and labels included?
Yes, plastic sleeves and labels are included. If you require anything special such as a hardcover case or a full colour label, please use our custom quote.

Can you make copies from a tape that was recorded at the slow speed?
Yes, however the faster the speed, the better the quality.

Will you make any changes to my videotape before duplicating?
Unless otherwise noted in writing, all master tapes are run as is.

I'm not sure what length program I have?
The length of a tape is usually stamped on the side of the tape. Tape length is in minutes - such as "180" - would mean a 3 hour tape ( 60 minutes x 3hours = 180minutes ).  If you have a tape, for example, a 120 minute tape (2 hours) and only have about 60 minutes of video on it (but you're not too sure) it is better to use the length stamped on the tape.
